Can the DJs who created those mixes please tell us roughly how long they spent on them?

Would be useful to know... !

Had to wait til I got home in order to check the files for the NeoFly tagteam mix, but it looks like we went early March to mid-July on this one. Of course, the thing about tagteams is that you are trying to get two or more ppl's time coordinated, which is never easy and sometimes can take a year Roll Eyes ... just ask the TagTeam From Hell participants Razz ... real life does intrude on the process despite our efforts to ignore it Wink

I think there have been other threads where ppl talk about the average amount of time they spend on mixes ... not these particular ones, but just in general. Try searching on "how much time" or some phrase like that....

Hey Omlette, (no matter how much you say it, it sounds funny)

I know it might be asking a lot... but I would really be interrested in seeing those tutorials but I am very limited as to my connection speed to watch them streaming. Would it be possible to put them online to download? Of course I would be more than happy to provide space to host those files.

Kaz, there are licensing restrictions which do not allow this. MixMeister pays royalties to several agencies in order to stream everything you hear on MixMeister Radio. The terms of the license don't permit downloading the content directly.

Sorry that's not the answer you wanted. Perhaps you could borrow a friend's broadband connection (or a coffee shop's, etc.) to view the video channel.

Gaz - Glad you like them. Smile We're in the early stages of finding suitable new material. They take a while to mix, record, annotate, edit, encode, test and then publish. With the excellent feedback we've had it's been very worthwhile for all involved. We use software called Camtasia studio to record the content and have created custom encoding profiles to balance the needs of audio & video.

Is there no way to download the tutorials in order to pause, rewind, forward, and get to the individual tutorials we want?

Mojo,

as you can see this has already been answered about 10 posts above yours - the limitation is in the license not in the desire to provide the info!

Sorry!

I have been messing around with http://www.podsafeaudio.com/

Music published under the "Creative Commons license for use in Podcasts, Mashups, Shoutcasts, Webcasts"

That would work, and for me the tunes aren't as important as the effects. It could be shorter from effect to effect.

maybe I have an attention problem or anything.

K,

Point 1 - The Video stream is offline as we are trying to incorporate several requests to update and provide shorter, more focused sections (see Voodoodriver's post).

Point 2 - since you bring it up, I'm 'on your tail' as you put it because *you* want Mixes aired, and presently yours are not of broadcastable standard.

I have offered to assist you, but if you find it neccesary to post comments that make it sound as if I am bullying or harrasing you, then I will withdraw the offer and we can wait until you manage to achieve the required level under your own steam.

Please remember that comments I make within Private Messages are just that - private, and not for general consumption on the main boards.
