Can someone help me figure out how to fix certain songs in my library..some songs I can drop and drag over to the playlist with no problem--some songs give me the error message "unable to find file" and it asks me to either skip it or specify a new location for the file. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried to specify a new location, but I wind up opening files to get to that song and then I don't know what to do from there?? Please help!

Hi,

Try doing a catalog cleanup.

That will sort out missing files for you.

In v.7 it's one of the items in the Library menu -- "Clean up Library". I'm not sure what the Express equivalent is. Why not check the Help files?

Hi,

Sorry, should have been more specific but I was away from my Mixmeister at the time.

I use Pro 6, and I find the option in Menu Catalog/Catalog Cleanup.

Should be the same in Express 6
