I just downloaded MM Express. I am having trouble pulling in my itunes playlists. Can you not do that? When I click on the plus sign and choose "add an entire file or folder" I cannot find my music when I click on my itunes folder. Do I need to do something in itunes? I have my music saved in various playlists in itunes. Please help!

MixMeister cannot work with music files that are DRM (Digital Rights Management or "anti-piracy") encoded, which I believe applies to most material that people have in their iTunes libraries or that they purchased via iTunes.
I'm not an iTunes user -- for that very reason -- so I'm not sure of all your options, but among options mentioned in previous threads is burning your iTunes library onto CDs and then ripping the CDs back onto your hard drive minus the DRM protection. If you want more info, search the forum using the FIND button and look for posts regarding iTunes. I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

You also need to realize that MM does not currently support AAC/MP4 files...it only supports MP3, Wav & WMA files.
Right now the most viable solution for your problem is to burn your tracks onto a CD and then rip them into your harddrive as MP3s. There might be some utility available that can convert AAC files into MP3s, but I personally don't know of any. Realize that if you go with this option, you will lose more information resulting in somewhat lower music quality (whether or not you notice this drop in quality is totally dependent on how good/sensitive your hearing is). Thank you Madame fly and Theodore! I will burn to cd (I need them for back up anyway!) I appreciate your help and may be back for more advise! I teach an hour long dance class and don't want to have to run to cd player to start and stop so that is why I got MM. I do need like 30 to 60 secs between songs to introduce next steps but don't want silence....I was just going to try to put a short (1 minute song) between each but if you have other good ideas I am all ears! Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!

Feel free to ask anytime ... if you have an issue that needs to be handled by official Tech Support, we will let you know ... otherwise, we'll try our best to assist you.
For the sections where you don't want silence, you might consider looking into loops from companies like PLP (Peace Love Productions) or Sony ... often you can find loops that repeat a reasonably complete-feeling bit of melody over some beats ... it's possible that using some "generic music" like this would go over better with your audience/class, compared with starting and stopping a song they actually know. Your idea of burning to a cd worked. Thanks! Just posted another question about changing bpms if you have any thoughts.
