Hi,
I'm new to the mp3 DJ scene as my record collection was destroyed by fire and this seems the realistic option. Can you recommend your favourite download sites for house/techno from 1990 - 2000. Any help much appreciated. I've just about stopped crying |

Oh maaaan ... read your post and it felt like my heart skipped a couple of beats! I wouldn't know what to do if that happened to me... sometimes life sucks big time!!! Can't tell you about techno/House d/l sites, however ... I'm more of the chillout kinda guy. Oh and last but not least: Welcome to beatmixing.com, the place to be if you're considering digital DJing. free your ears and your mind will follow... |

Hi James,
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Regarding download sites for mp3's you could try the following two sites which I use regularly: Traxsource.com (cheap & cheerful house) Beatport (more expensive but with a greater selection including techno) Im sure other people will be able to reccomend more sites to you. Dani Relax. What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind! |

I've seen quite a few older vocal house tracks at Masterbeat's web site.
Also, check out PerfectBeat. They are mainly a CD shop, but they also have a growing download collection. At least some downloadable tracks are limited to the US. |
