Hi!
I have downloaded the Fusion demo and very happy with it. Now im thinking about buying a total new equipment which includes Mixmeister and 2 soundscard. Now im wondering which control-unit works with Mixmeister or is it coming something new soon? I have heard that Mixmeister recommend Behringer BCR2000 and BCF2000, but is that any more unit that works that is a little bit more cooler, maybe DN-HD2500, DAC-3 or something. Thanks in advance for all help! Best regards Fredde |

Hi Fredde,
I know from experience that the BCF2000 works well with Mixmeister, and I imagine the BCR2000 does too although I haven't used one myself. The important factor about both of them is that the motorised faders/endless pots stay in sync with the V/B/M/T markers in Fusion, whereas most other controllers wouldn't. Other more "typical" DJ controllers aren't a very logical choice for Fusion because they tend to use the analogy of two decks, whereas Fusion uses multiple strips on a timeline. No doubt with enough work you could get one working as a controller for Fusion, but it still wouldn't be very logical so I'd recommend giving it some serious thought before parting with any money! DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) controllers make quite good Fusion controllers, because you can use the jog/shuttle wheel to move around the timeline and map buttons to Fusion's functions. I use a Contour ShuttlePro 2, which works well but it doesn't really have the "cool" factor you're looking for. It'll be interesting to see whether anyone else has come up with any good alternative controllers... Cheers, Steve |

i am currently using the BCF2k for Fusion but a bit more hands on would be great, especially to control the effects. (though i don't have 7.2 yet).
Actually why doesn't Numark develop a Mixmeister specific made mixer ..i'm sure this would be a killer package MM!!! |

As far as I know, the Behringers are still the only controllers that will do this. Although that may have changed. Contact tech support for details before making a purchase. Tim, Co-host of Jack2It MMRadio |

This is brand-spankin' new. Was just announced by Mixmeister and Numark about a week ago or so. As of yet, it is not available for sale anywhere.
According to the press that's out there, it is scheduled to be available in stores in the 2nd quarter of this year which would make that sometime after April 1st, but that's all they've said so far. Several of our members and MM staff will be meeting at the Winter Music Conference in Miami this week, and we'll try to get you the latest news on this and other Mixmeister happenings directly.
