Duck,
First off, check to see where your CPU utilization is when you're performing these functions. (Right click taskbar, Task Manager, Performance tab). See if it's ramping up to 100% when you try to open your playlist. Playlists can take a long time to open even on my new dual-core system, especially if they have large numbers of track edits and/or significant VST effects with automation added. The program is CPU power-hungry. Also, if you're trying to open Pro6 playlists, those can cause troubles, especially if you've not deleted the old plotfiles from Pro 6. Just don't do that, as it's not worth the effort--complex track edits won't import properly at all. Also, remember that Fusion needs to replot your files for its own use--make sure to delete any old Pro6 plotted .mxm files and let Fusion replot them prior to using those song files in Fusion. And, or, call me, and we'll see if we can work through your troubles. Tim, Co-host of Jack2It MMRadio |
