Hi all,

I am new to the forums. I have been using the latest version of Fusion+Video and last night while playing New Years Eve I had a lot of skipping issues while in performance mode. I have a Acer laptop, Vista, DualCore with 2 gigs of ram and use a 500GB Western Digital External HD. I run the laptop pretty lean. I noticed the clipping/skipping the most when I would be previewing a song, quickly typing in a search or scrolling down the playlist. It was fairly noticeable and VERY annoying, a guest even commented on it (ugh!).

I am using a Hercules external USB sound card for both my digital out (ASIO) and preview channel.

Also I when songs in which the BPM had not previously been identified were dragged over into the play list they were continually in "scanning" mode even after 100%. I would welcome your input here. Thanks!

Based on the description of your sound output problem, your issues are most likely related to your video display/drivers and/or the settings/drivers for your ASIO card. There are some very detailed posts in the Fusion forums here that describe these problems and the related solutions.
