I know I have been complaining a lot in the other Fusion areas...but just realized I made a terrible error...STUPID ME finally realized the main function of this program was geared toward the dj who mixes on the fly! I...just today after 12 days just realized this...and today finally tried to mix using the MIX NOW button...I can't believe how accurate this does work and how excellent the transitions do sound.
I am so sorry for all the b*tching I have done...just solved my own problem I think...that being stupidity on my part. I do think it should be addressed to people that this way of mixing is the easiest...is the answer to all of my problems I know. Jimi (extremely pleased at this point!) |

Jimi J,
Mix It Now might be the easiest but it is not the best way. It mixes out phrase. If you are able to post some screenshots of what your problems are, I am sure i can help you through them. Let me know. |

Hi Jimi, yep part of the reason Fusion is so frustrating to experience MM users is that it's taken the best features of the MM product line and applied them to a completely on-the-fly mixing experience.
Obviously to properly accomodate this a number of things need to work a little differently, and the number of comparisons flying around between Pro and Fusion whilst understandable are like comparing apples and oranges - I've not looked but I'm sure the Native Instruments forums aren't awash with people saying "why can't I do xyz in Traktor 3 when I can do it in Kore". I'm glad this has clicked into place for you, and I hope it will for others - one more thing...if you get the chance try Fusion with an external controller - it's about the funnest thing ever Enjoy a very different mixing experience |

Monk, you are right to a point. I gues you can call me one of the ones comparing apples and oranges. The product might be best suited to dance dj's but definetely not easier to work with for multi genre live dj's. It just does not work. So you can see my frustration here. My rebuttal to djhsl in a previous post was to correct some misrepresentations that MM6 could not do this or that etc so that led me to the comparisons. I would have no problems if they would have come out with Fusion and also an MM7 which would just be an ehanced and fixed version of MM6. That way both camps would be happy. I know, wishful thinking. But anyways, enjoy yours and I will enjoy mine. Ju |

I agree about the MM7- but I was told there would be no more upgrades, just bug fixes
I will remain a MM6 "producer", not a fusion "DJ". I can only hope that since these products are INDEED apples and oranges, that the creators will continue to produce apples and oranges "....WHY can't EVERY song just have clean 32 beat 'ins and outs'?..." |

A new verision has always ment more learning curve. Hey if you make it to easy then what would anyone need us for? I think we all should take our thinking caps for Mmpr6 off. And now put on our Fusion 10 gallon hats on.. I only wish that MM team would go towards a plugin.. Type approach to MM as do other software. Like Adobe. If you want to add something you by a plugin to do it with. The core stays the same. Plugablity would also help development. Other companys could buy the rights to sell thier plugins. More Money... More Money.. More Money...
