I used to use Sony's Wavehammer plugin to manage my playback volume, but Wavehammer is DirectX and isn't supported with Fusion.
Can anyone recommend something for Fusion? I've downloaded FinalPlug 5, it seems quite good, but it isn't exactly cheap. Waves L2 is also quite expensive. Any other suggestions? Wedding DJ for Bendigo, Maryborough, Echuca and Shepparton |

OzoneMP, which is bundled with Fusion and Studio, is a really good compressor/limited.

OzoneMP is excellent and I'm really happy you're bundling this with MixMeister.
However, there are quite a few DX only plugins (Wavehammer, BBE Sonic Maximizer, db-audioware Mastering Bundle etc) that are really useful for MixMeister, and I hope you find a way for Fusion to support DX effects as previous versions of MixMeister have done. |

We seriously entertained supporting both DirectX and VST. We discovered that many plugins support both architectures. Supporting both wasn't practical for us, given all the new effects features including automation and beat synced effects.
Here is a great resource finding new plugins: http://www.kvraudio.com We'll have more resources on finding plugins shortly. |

A workaround to get DX effects into MixMeister Fusion is to use the free FFX-4 from VB-Audio.
Two good free VST effect plugin sets are Kjaerhus Audio Classic Series and GVST effects package. |

The two best-quality maximiser/limiter effects I've found are:
1. T-RackS 2. Ozone (NOT OzoneMP) T-RackS seems a little unstable with Fusion, so I've decided to buy Ozone. Wedding DJ for Bendigo, Maryborough, Echuca and Shepparton |

I find myself there is no need anymore to use mp3gain when I incorporate OzoneMP in my mixes...this is nothing short of OUTSTANDING in my book. Jimi J |

Hi, I'm thinking of starting to use this software and I'm wanting to know what kind of hardware you think is best to use with the software - ie compressors and the like. what are your individual setups? what do you recommend? thanks, blackdiamond13 @ Jemsite
