Boys & Girls, J2I Listeners...I'm on air with my debut set "Breathe!"

So now I'm supposed to spend a few words about it...
Born on a laptop, traveling in a train, with just a reduced music library, imo it does not shine with track selection and coherence.I was just messing around matching acappellas, loops, cutting and editing and felt so amazed with some of the results that I thought...must submit it to jack2it.

Another weak point may be the final mastering...still got everything to learn about it and don't have a good pair of monitors yet...headphones makes everything sounds great.

Now please if you got a chance to step on my set while on schedule, good or bad, I'll be glad and thankful to hear your opinion.

You made this set with a lappy + a set of headphones + a restricted tune selection??? Something tells me that you might not be new to this mixing/DJ game ...... or (if you've seen the film "Ratatouille") you've got some mini-demon DJ pulling your hair

This set is simply a stunner. Beautifully smooth and sensual. Apart from that, what particularly struck me was the gorgeous booming basslines throughout that simply flowed perfectly from track to track (to my ears, anyway). Tunes were great, too. Harmonically, no issues, and your accapellas/edits were beautifully done.


I can't wait to hear your next set.

Yes got many...as told on my first post I've had a small club near rome...meant listened to 5/6 Dj set every week for almost 8 years...resident, guests and newcomer.Quite a lot of stuff...I'm so glad to know that (by your very incouraging words) something left.

Wish to thanks Robert and Neb for their very kind words...and all our jack2it hosts for keeping this set on rotation even if its pretty old.
I know it's time to present something fresh but i've been very busy on spring and summer with live sets at appetizers and dinner time in bar and restaurants.3/4 night a week working as a dj is far more than i expected.Had even some offers from a club but i think i will wait till numark controller will be out to present myself in a more professional set up.
Thanks to MM and the community for sharing tips and experiences.
Anyway i've been asked to present by the end of September a demo set, I will submit it to you all first, let's see how it goes.
