hello all...it's been a while...i am estatic that many of the major online mp3 services are making avaliable tracks from dance lables that are not around anymore available for purchase..one of those lables is "Strictly Rhythm"..i have almost every imprint from this lable on vinyl but very few on mp3 until i began to purchase all the ones i can get my hands on online..this local New York city lable was the stepping stone for many great housemusic produces that are famous now..also just about everyone such as M.A.W, Todd Terry, David Morales, Kerri "KAOZ" Chandler, and so on, have had at least five or more releases on this lable at one time or another under differant "alias" namesakes...Strictly always pushed the envelope and was always on top of what was hot and current..it had deephouse, freestyle, tribal, tech house, even trance tracks..this was a big deal for a New York lable which tend to be close minded to new sounds..TWISTED ROOK was an employee of this lable up until the end and was able to collect many tracks that can hold tough on any dance floor till this day...but anyway i'm running on again..i have picked some of my favorite tracks and created a set a little over an hour to give you small taste of the amazing sounds of Strictly Rhythm...i hope you all can enjoy...be well everyone....I.V.I....

Ooooo nice selection especially Barbara Tucker "I Get Lifted" and Mole People (a.k.a Armand Van Heldan) "Break Night"..it's been a while since i even opened the cases for my 1200's or used them at a venue..my hands will perhaps tremble if i try to hold needles now, it's been so long....I.V.I..
