I have just submitted a new two hour house mix. It contains tracks by Roy Gates, Camille Jones, Armand van Helden, Armin van Buuren, Gregor Salto, Deep Dish and many others. Tempo ranges from 124 BPM to 131 BPM. All crits are welcome

Really love this. Will be catching it again.

--Excellent key structure. Modulations are tight and effectively drive harmonic tension

--Good variety in overall selection.

--Transitions are consistently elegant with some peculiarly delightful rhythmic turns.

--I really love the Karen Overton Vocal and am mad about the ASBO/Soul Avengerz Remix. I like almost everything Soul Avengerz does and I was a bit sad to hear this particularly excellent remix of theirs end with the fairly quick turn to the Christopher/Tony Cha Cha. That of course is a matter of personal taste, and overall I found the quick turns throughout the mix to be quite complimentary and appropriate. I could go on about how many of your song selections are just great--grooveyard at the moment, but you get the picture.

--The entire mix moves logically and with purpose from beginning to end, and effectively creates continuing interest for the ear. Would definitely keep me moving on the floor, and puts a good chunk of the resident DJs I hear in Chicago, even in the better clubs, to shame.

Excellent work! Bring us more.

Welcome! We look forward to hearing more from you! Oh, and getting gigs in clubs here is probably just like it is anywhere else...there are people who should be spinning and people who should not. Don't get me wrong, we have some of the most fantastic residents here, then there are the rest...that turn your head on the dancefloor all for the wrong reasons.

Just catchin this set and I can see why theres been so many positive comments on it. The mixing has been smooth so far and the track selection great. The only track I wasnt mad about was the Fedde Le Grande track 'The Creeps' but even that worked very well in this mix.

One complaint though. The fact that its two hours long means I probably wont get to hear all of the mix (my Girlfriend thinks im ignoring her and is about to start nagging me any minute now).

Still I cant wait to here your next effort RobertdB

Its fine, my gf knows im a music junkie anyway. Im just waiting for the day she asks which I prefer music or her. Ill be damned if I know the answer to that one

Anyway according to tepmix they are getting pretty strict on the whole mix being under 80 mins long thing so I guess this wont be an issue from now on.

Oh and BTW that Moby track brings back a lot of memories

Well, I was actually dumped once because my girlfriend thought she was unable to compete with "my music" ... though that didn't exactly concern the time I spent with music ... but that's another story! However, I hope your gf will not put your love for music to the test, Dani. (would really miss those fab mixes of you!!!)
