Earlier in the year I had uploaded a Funk Boutique mix: Pilfered & Philtered...and as luck would have it, all of the transitions were thrown off during the conversion process (the worst offenses were in the heavily edited transitions early on in the mix). I had no choice but to remove it from rotation IMMEDIATELY!!! Then my horrible luck continued....I had lost all of my music files in a hard drive failure. I had managed to recover approximately 98% of my House tracks...however there were a few that were permanently lost to me. Some of these tracks came from CDs and Vinyl I no longer had access to, therefore I couldn't properly reconstruct this mix.

This morning I found myself unable to sleep a single wink, so I proceeded to see if I could replace the track with something else...and I did. I also added another track to create a new end for the mix, thus creating: Funk Boutique: Pilfered & Philtered (Redux)

This is a hard playing, discotastic, dubbed out funkfest featuring tracks from: Conga Squad, DJ Funsko, Daft Punk, Sucker DJs, DJ Wady, Mighty Dub Kats and many more. I hope you guys get to catch this set...let me know what you think when you hear it.

TRR... I really enjoyed this mix. Hearing it has given me a bit of a push to begin working on a new house set. That last track by Richard F is just as amazing as the man himself. It excites me to see DJ's playing his tunes as I have experienced first hand the amount of love he puts into making them. Richard is House Music!
