This is house in it's most pure form...These tracks date from about 1986 to 1989...House music before there was Electro, Progressive, Deep, Tech, Funky, Dirty and so on and so on..I'm not knocking it though, the tracks being produced today are off the charts incredible and is what will keep me forever loving this sound of ours..this is for the DJ'S that are curious about where it all started.. Many of the NEW, house-music DJ's, will never understand this fact!!
When the disco era gasped out of breath, these are the tracks/cuts that snatched the baton, and dashed dance music to a whole new era. Disco music successor, so to speak...
Where I come from, we call house music "Club Music" (Newark NJ/NYC).
I give big props to the senior music pioneers of Chicago, for they were the key innovators of these soul-touching cuts...
