My latest set, simply titled D's Groove, is a mix of pure funky house. Some of it is deep, some straight up funky and two tracks are my own. The first half has a lot of full vocal tracks while the second half has more dub mixes and tracks with vocal samples. It's approx 75 mins long.

As usual all feedback appreciated.

Thanks for the comments I.V.I. I gotta admit that Aruba track is great...very funky with some quirky vocal samples. I just got his remix of 2fo's Closer To The Sun and its pretty slamin too.

Yeah I only thought of that after I had submitted it but wasnt arsed changing the title. Anyway im glad you enjoyed the mix as well as the title. Now im off to work on my next set (the title of which has nothing to do with the letter d).

Glad you liked the set Neb. The stereo effects you are referring to were done with a great set of free plug-ins I got. You can check them out here (they are available as VST and directX).

Oh, the effect you are talking about is not the one I was thinking of (I used several in the mix). The plug-in you want to get that effect is Steroid Bouncer. It's an EQ which lets you configure each channel independantly so you could, for example, turn up the bass on the left and turn down the trebble on the right to get some wicked stereo separation. Oh and the great thing is its free.

Thanks Rook. That track is actualy one of my own creations. I started messing around with samples using Sony Acid Music Maker a while ago and came up with a few tracks for my own mixes. So if you see any tunes by DView or Chunky By Choice then thats me.
