Okay, so while my wife was at her hair stylist, she mentioned that I like to mix house music.

Well the woman is the owner of the salon, and she asked if I could make a mix that she could play there. Something not too heavy and not too intense, but something pretty cool.

I took this to mean that I couldn't cut loose and I had to keep the bpm relatively subdued. So most of the tracks on this mix are under 120 bpm, with three exceptions in the middle of the mix where I pick it up somewhat.

It's all pretty much a straight up house beat.

In any event, this is my first non MMRadio public performance. . she's been playing it in her salon about once a day for about a week now. I dropped the CD off last week, and my wife went in on Friday for her latest appointment and she said her stylist liked it.

There's nothing too fancy in here, as I had a difficult time just finding music that was in that bpm range that seemed to fit together well.

I do really like the Beth Orton track at the very end.

I really enjoyed this mix. Great set, smooth mixing. A lot of great familiar tunes, and the 'new-to-me' trax were great.
