So, I have started to evolve a taste for house music and would love to submit a new mix that is currently in the studio. I am new to house so I would appreciate all feedback...hosts - just let me know what you need from me and when the set is completed, I will post it up!

So, I am hitting a wall due to the fact that I am limited in my library of House music so could you guys post up some of the more popular artists you like so I can add to my arsenal? Please?

I have been out of the house loop for quite some time now, so I don't know what the hip kids listen to nowadays, but I love everything and anything from Deep Dish (original and remixes). If you dig for their remixes you'll find quite a few original artists too.

not much but a start

Has anyone seen my brain today? (^_^)

Honestly, Neb, being this new to House I am not completely sure I can differentiate the differences between the genres of House yet. I know I like upbeat tracks with heavy bass like Benassi and Van Buuren, if that helps any? I guess something progressive as well. So, an upbeat, heavy bass progressive track is what I am looking for! Wink

I have such a mixture of different artists, spanning all sub-genres of House, so it's difficult to suggest some specific artists. You could try Roland Klinkenberg & DJ Remy for some progressive stuff.

If you haven't done so already, head off to beatport and check out the House ... Progressive section and listen to a load of tracks. You could also try some Tribal house (which is more-or-less prog. typically with loads of congas & bongos .... a complete generalisation, but you get the idea Wink ).

hth

Neb.
