Hey .... nice one, Robert
Your intro. describes the set perfectly! Real nice mix of prog/tech/blinkybloinky. And, as you say, with some killer basslines sneaked-in Flow is spot-on with this; transitions flawless. Enjoyed this set ... keep 'em coming, my man. Neb. |

Basically I have my knowledge of understanding music, cause I have played guitars earlier, my brother and my mother keyboards. Then I began to produce a bit for myself. When you do those things you begin to listen different to music! You begin to hear the single channels in productions, perhaps the keys, the effects, the dalays - the whole technic! So I can discriminate between styles because of the form of the production. I hear quasi the channels, the instruments and the technic and can find out a specific style! When I hear this style quite often I can name it. The typical club house is house with a rattle bass, vocals which sing good composed melodies with refrains, or with samples! Furthermore with huge delay, reverb, filter - works, loops and vibrato works (flanger, chorus, phaser etc.). Your house is quasi naked! You can hear only the channels with the vibratos, loops and filters etc. No happy melody or other song elements! Only technic! So I call this "pure club"! It is quasi a form of house for the trained house listener! It´s so as when you listen always to rock, but then you want to hear the pure rock! Without any squiggles! Your music is the style of the skilled DJ´s, because they are able to find out the building blocks of house and club - knowingly or not. Remember my rock example! You have found out the elements of club house - also when you don´t know how these are produced! All the best, Rob, till next time ... |

I select these parts of the tracks on purpose. I try to find the part in the song that makes the song interesting and cut out the rest. Thats why I always end up using 30 tracks an hour
Many thanks for your feedback Holger. If you could only see the big smile on my face Till next time m8! Robert Be ad GCF! |
