Something of a departure for me. . I've never really submitted a truly jackin' mix with a generous helping of Chicago Deep Dish flavors. . .But I was messin' around on Traxsource and found several tracks that I really liked.

From there I dug into my library and here we are.

Several tracks with some very bumpy syncopated rhythms, some rapping, great samples. No divas singing. . .that's not really something I typically gravitate toward.

I think it picks up a good house vibe, but keeps a bit of underground flavor. Kind'a like mixing in some chili pepper into your home made brownies. . . they taste great and have a tiny bit of zing on the tongue.

I hope you guys enjoy.

Man I love this guys music. In my latest set (Jack The Club) there are three of his tunes. I know its only two tracks in but im enjoying this set so far.

Just finished listening to the whole set and I gotta say I thought it was great. The transitions were silky smooth and the track selection right on the button (I particularly liked your intro and outro tracks). One thing I appreciated was that the set didnt last too long. 75 mins was just perfect as the mix never got boring.

Im certainly glad you took a departure Big Grin

Relax. What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Never mind!

Thanks man. . . I too have grown fond of Mr. Fabriani.

I really LOVE that last track. The house vibe and the swingin' jazzy vocal style go very well together. "St. James Infirmary Blues" is a really old tune, and no one is really sure who initially wrote or performed it

I'm not 100% sure who performed the particular vocal, but I think it was Cab Calloway . On the full track, when the vocal part ends and there is a two or three second pause before the beat kicks back in for another two minutes or so. Initially, the track was in the middle of the mix, but I decided that the vocal ended too well to let the track outro into another tune - I kinda knew I had to leave the mix with that vocal.
