Hola House afficionados....Have we got a little treat for you right here....

A Tag-team delight brought to you courtesy of the Darque Knights: Twisted Rook & Fallen Solo. For this project (our second), we've abondeoned the whole vs concept behind Tag-teaming here....and have instead chosen to adopt a more friendly (and usefull) co-operative Tag style. The prupose behind that is that we have similar tastes, and we bring different techniques to the table...working together as opposed to "battling" each other, we can teach one another a few things....expand our repertoire of Techniques and mixing styles. Working together in this fashion, we get to improve one another's game.

Without further ado we give you.....
Darque Knights Present: In A Darque State. A very hard mix featuring some hot Progressive House and Breaks. Quite a few Progressive tracks laced with some breaks in them, and a few Breaks with a nice Progressive sound to them.

Let us know what you think of this set from the dynamic Duo here... Big Grin

Over to you partner..... Cool

This mix was a long time a'coming! Both of us got tied up with R.W. things and we probably took about 4 months to get around to finishing it up.

TRR showed me some excellent progressive/breaks mashup techniques, things I'm still trying to master. Early on he uses a breaks loop in some progressive breakdowns that I think are just about the coolest thing since the PBR sandwhich.

I'd like to thing that I was able to impress him, but I dunno.

The track selection was definately spot on. TRR laid down an overlay toward the end of the mix, one that I've heard before and used myself, but I think it fit particularly well with the track I'd just contributed.

This is definately a mix I can listen to multiple times - it's what I wish the clubs around here would play after 1:00 AM too. I hope y'all enjoy this late at night whilst sipping your Crown on the rock or Courvoisier.

I'm glad you liked it, we worked quite awhile on it . . . meaning it took a long time to get around to finishing. Smile

Personally, I'm very much enjoying throwing in some breaks with my mixes.
