Nice thread ... great idea Smile

I'm not big on effects (yet) but it's something I've been exploring a bit more recently. I'll certainly check out Ambience and Cyanide2, but the plugins I'm always/often using with Fusion:
1. Ozone3 - EQ, imaging, mastering
2. NewBlueDJ filter sweep - errrr .. filter sweep! (although the most usual effect I'm after I can pretty much get with tre/mid markers now)
3. NewBlueDJ Panner - errrr ... panning! See this thread on how I'm using it.
4. DBlue Glitch - ^^^^

I've been tinkering with CamelSpace, but never really clicked with it. Anyone got any real cool presets to share?

Neb.

I just discovered a new plug-in similar to DBlue Glitch called Effectrix. Effectrix is made by sugar bytes and what makes it a little different is that multiple effects can be applied on each step. Dblue is great about applying one specific effect per step but Effectrix multiplies the sonic potential of effect sequencing. It also allows parameter editing so that you can automate effect parameters along the step sequence. Of course MixMeister can automate all those effects and record them as well which is even cooler.

Nice going to look up and see what those plug ins do.Maybe i have a few similar ones in my collection.my favorite list is as fallows.Apologize as i have not graduated from MM6 to fusion yet.Maybe one day.

VBFX 16 rack
1 AnalogX Bitpolice usually off unless I am checking a Plug in
2 AnalogX DC offset
3 Waves L2 dither none shaping none quantize 24bits on
4 Waves C4 always in uncompresse mode
5 Waves Q10 Para graphic equalizer set usually for most songs in the typical "Dance" wave form such as WM9-10 dance equalizer setting.
6 Waves true verb usually off but kick it in here and there fast response on my new q9550 Diamond P7N mobo OC 3.6g.
7 Waves Ultra Pitch 3 voice " " " " " " " " " " "
8 waves Ultra pitch 6 voice " " "
9 " " R Bass usually off some older mp3s at 128 of recordings from fiftys, fortys up into eightys sound better my mp3s at 192VBR lame from my LP/45/12 inch collection rarely do need this from this era of Lower audio compression .General Mastering standards back then used less compression. But occasionally sounds better. Some recent house/techno/euro especially 128bit sound better.
10 Waves Ultra pitch Shift usually off occasional use live.
11 WavesR Verb " " ' "
12 waves s-1 Image r " " " "

Ah getting late and want to read up on your plug ins wrote them down see what they do.
I will finish what is in the second VBFX rack another time.
I trimmed the list down a bit since using Sound Blaster Xfi cards in my builds.
The MP3s need much Less processing now to sound like lets say the original CD wave file.

The signal finally passes to CSB and outputs the CSB xiFi at 24bit directly to the PA.the crystaliser software does a great job in keeping the volume levels more closer from mp3 to mp3 and requiring less drastic adjustments in volume on my part.

Actually #12 is number 1 in next rack #6 is L1 ultra maximizer+ usually set to dither off shaping normal at 24bits.
The MP3s sound much better than the original CDS in my comparisons.the CDS themselves sound better through xfi.
One day will rip wave files from a few CDS and run them through this Setup as a comparison to 192VBr lame rips.
Hmm would be nice to be able to try the other No Loss formats oh well.WM and lame pro are good. One problem with Xp64bit and CSB the only Asio Driver I found when I click Install in MMX6 Blue screen of death.Same with Foobar.
But it works with the audio editor Reaper or loads and opens.Have to hope my emails get answered I dislike Vista and won't change to it to get Asio drivers and the hours to learn how to cut the fat out of Vista so it runs like this lean 64bit Xp if that is even possible.

I am just an N Lite butcher and have to research the problems it took me two hours how to figure out how to get rid of yahoo of hp OEM Vista.Sounds pretty good without Asio.A problem might manifest In Reaper but haven't had time to do anything creative to find out.
