My version of MMF is 7.0.5... I've been using this and the VB FFX-4 1.0.0.3 to load waves diamond plugins for a long time, and I have never encountered any problems.

But today, I was mixing some tunes on MMF and I notice any waves plugin that I load on to FFX doesn't work at all.. I tried reinstalling FFX and dropping the files into my MMF folder, still doesn't work but now I get a "plug-in error" message.

Is it something wrong with MMF or the plugin.. can anyone please help me figure this out?

Well I do not have MMFusion but did play with it on my friends computer. The Culprit to the behavior of your software is either hardware or software related possibly a few damaged system files.

You did not mention your operating system nor details of your computer its hardware which would help a great deal other posters who may have had similar but not quite the exact problem.

I will detail a strategy checklist here despite not having that information.

1, have you installed or uninstalled any software prior to this problem.

2, have you run lets say registry Cleaner,or had to run an Anti virus software to get rid of something.

3,either manually or by Windows update have you installed any recent hot fixes from Microsoft?

If the Answer is yes to any of the above hopefully you have the restore feature turned on in Windows.if so then
go to an earlier restore point before any of the yes answers and restore your system. That ought to fix it.

if the answers are no to the above its hardware problems.Or restoring does not solve the problem.

have you installed a new device hardware on your system shortly before this happened? If yes remove it and its driver.Or added changed Ram?Made changes to the bios settings?

If no next step.

you will have to download utilitys such as CPUZ and a few others such as memory test everest home edition they are free from geeks.com.

Check temperature of yur processor at idle and under load is it within the rated specs of the manufacturer.

Run memory test.Lots of errors? temperature high? etc.

Check motherboard temps north bridge south bridge.

Are the voltages from the Power supply within five percent or exact as rated? At idle under load such as benchmarking with Everest?

I will turn notifications on.Unless you want to pay someone or reformat reinstall Windows or the programs which
will not solve the problem if its hardware related you will have to do the above Steps to narrow down what hardware is intermitantly failing most likely under load.

Could be weak power supply,Compound drying out under the heat sink to the CPU.a memory stick going bad,a mother board component failure or something as benign as "Hardware creep".

creep is due to heat.it is the constant expansion and contraction of the various components of the computer and can and does affect over time every computer. This includes even the plastic electrical connections and even memory sockets including CPU.Maybe thats why I notice the CPUS I recently bought have no pins they are in the mother board now and have a completely different system.

I discovered this as i am in the habit for about 10 years picking up thrown out computers.i didnot call it anything.
I would check one of these treasures.Start dissembling them swapping components to a working computer and discover nothing wrong with the parts?Put other known working parts into the free computer and it would fire up!!!put the old parts back in and it fires up! LOLL somebody just gave me another computer LOL!!Scratched my head figured something must have gotten loose it didn't work so they bought a new one and I got a nice toy to add to my collection sell or give away!
6 months ago read on an overclocker board a description of this phenomena and someone labeled it hardware creep!

So do yur homework and post back and let me and others know the fruits of your Labor!
