I'm looking for a plugin (for pro 6 or Fusion)that creates a effect like a turntable being turned off and slowing quickly (tapesstop??) any ideas always appreciated
Why cant i get it to work for me? |

You need to search for an effect rather than a plug-in.
Just google for "Rewind FX" or "Turntable Brake FX" or similar. |

Have you seen this?
Tapestop You need to play about with it to get the desired effect. There's a better one I used to use, but it's on my dead pc and I can't remember what it's called. If I remember, I'll update this post. Have Fun Sly |

I have been looking for something like this for ages! Thank you so much Sly Devil, and if you can find the better version then I would love to have that too (this one does the job better than anything else out there but it's a bit buggy)

No problem siob. I was racking my brains trying to remember what that other plugin was, but it doesn't matter - I've found something better. It's called Glitch and allows you to apply up to 9 supplied effects (including a better Tapestop). It's superb if you want to mangle breaks (as I have being doing recently). Highly recommended.

Hey, nice one Sly
I've used Glitch (very basic tapestop) on one of my latest sets - great plugin. Must admit, I saw all the buttons and knobs on my first use and thought "sod this .. let's get this tapestop working then run away ....". Since I've used Glitch in such a simple way, your tut. is a big help. I'll definetely be exploring it further thanks to you blowing away the scary fog, if you see what I mean Neb. |
