The VST plugins can be applied to tracks and manipulated in a variety of ways. You can apply a VST plugin immediately to an entire track, and then turn the plugin off and on utilizing the automation features of Fusion. Or, you can simply highlight a portion of the track with your mouse and then only "drop" the plugin onto that portion of the track. You can then utilize the automation features to gradually adjust the settings of the plugin during playback and Fusion will "memorize" those changes.
However, if you've not done so, you really need to go through the entire tutorial one or more (recommended) times as it very effectively and visually illustrates, step-by-step, how to use and apply the VST plugins to Fusion as well as how to use the other advanced features of the program. I have read posts in this and other forums where it appears that confused users have proceeded to try to use Fusion initially without taking the tutorials. By bypassing the tutorials, you will miss out on how to use some of the most aurally and technically stunning advancements in the program that lead to its ease of use and effectiveness. The tutorials are in the program ... in the Help menu are links to the Help files and to the tutorials.
I have to agree with Tepmix: Anytime you get a program that offers as much complexity as MixMeister, you are just slowing yourself down if you don't spend some time with the Help options ... you are asking questions in the forum about things that are already explained in the Help files ... I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |
