Post it notes within MixMeister!

For *ages* now one of my Wishlist items has been to have post it style notes available with in MixMeister.

Just imagine being able to record every setting of every effect or note down where you want to cut n paste or alternative songs to mix with this one, or where you want place your overlays - the possibilities are endless and saves you having to write abbreviated or difficult to read notes using the label markers.

I've now found a VST plugin (so it'll only work on Fusion & Studio 7), that allows me to write as much as I want (up to 255 characters per page, with 10 pages available per use!) and attach it to an individual track/section of a track or whole Mix.

In the image below I've combined the plugin with a Label Marker (NOTE) to indicate that there is a 'post-it' attached.



To read/write in the note I just decide where I want to attach it to the track by selecting an area on the timeline (leftclick and drag), then drag the Porte-plume1f- Effect from the Effects library onto the area I selected in the timeline.

click on the Show the Effect Control Panel button (looks like a shadowed rectangle) in the Slicer/Effects window and the box pops up - click on it, type away, then click on the 'x' to close. Use the number buttons 1-10 to read what is on each page.

Now if we could only have an 'official' MixMiester in-built version things would be ideal - well, maybe someday I hope!
