This set is very dear to my heart. Latin music has always been a staple in my life since as far back as I can remember. Being Latino

growing up in the streets of New York, it just couldn't get any better. The clubs, the concerts at Yankee Stadium, Madison Square Garden,

Orchard Beach, and Central Park drew the biggest names in Latin music. This little gem I put together for your listening enjoyment is by

no means a "spoof" of the Fab 4 (for those of you that don't remember...they were the guys out of Liverpool with the funny haircuts that

took the world by storm!). It is however, a collaboration of some of the biggest superstars in Latin music, some of who are no longer with

us, that decided to "come together" (no pun intended) and pay tribute to John, Paul, George, and Ringo....the phenomenon better known as

The Beatles.

Some of the legendary artists included in this set are Celia Cruz, Tito Puentes, Oscar D'Leon, Cheo feliciano, Johnny Rivera, Tito Nieves,

and many more. The set starts off with Jose "El Canario" Alberto's spanish rendition of "And I Love Her" and then takes off from there with

the finale "Come Together" performed by all the artists together! Need i say more. This set is dedicated to all my Puerto Rican, New-Yor-

Rican, & Cali-Rican friends....and to my friends across the pond (you know who you are)...this one's for you!

I hope you enjoy this tribute as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Mr C

I'm definitely going to be catching this! Smile

It's a difficult choice, but I'd say my favourite Beatles song is Hey Jude....

He maaaan, you are mixing Beatles? I love many styles and naturally I love the Beatles!

I´m very pleased to catch this set, guy.

Wow! Wow! Wow! The Beatles have played latin? I never heard about that before. Surely you have many LPs from the boys, I have sadly only the red and the blue album. I love latin, too. I see, we guys like m a n y
styles.

Till listening to the mix bye,
Holger.

O boy, I had misunderstood you yesterday. I´m so sorry. It´s a tribute to the Beatles, not the Beatles self.
However I´m very pleased to catch the mix. It´s a special mix from your heart, such a thing is a l w a y s
touching.

Again till listening to the mix bye and best regards,
Holger.

I have just catch the set from the beginning!

00:05:24 : I am ardent! Latin rhyhtms with the melodies from The Beatles. Percussions! Good! Good!

About 00:09 : I wanna dance to that rhythm. Latin is a wonderful music with so much zest for life. Your music
makes me now forget my headaches.

About 00:13: "A hard days night" as a latin version. I have a CD with new Pop - Songs, exploit from musicians of "The Buena Vista Social Club". At it remember me this sound now.

About 00:18: "Hey Jude" at latin sound. Unusual! But not bad. He guy, where is my cocktail now? I prefer a "Mojito", but "Caipirinha" is also not bad!

About 00:23: The sad "yesterday" in a bright latin sound. Let´s dance to it! As far as I know is this song
the most covered of all times!

About 00:28: What a groove! What a zest for life! You latin guys have the rhythm in your blood, really!
Does they play in New York also Latin?

About 00:35: What a refreshing mix here at "beatmixing.com"! It´s so different from the others! I admire you to take heart to upload this mix. All should do that, than "beatmixing.com" would be better and better.

About 00:42: I am ardent again. The Beatles in a happy latin sound. Wow! And I must say: The musicians playes
very well! Here in Germany this sound is not so known, but I say: It´s very, very well!!!

About 00:46: I am definite ardent. "I want to hold your hand" played with so much joy! Mr Cucho can I visit you? I wanna know more about your latin roots!

About 00:52: The balky "Come together" played with a happy sound! Wow! Here in Germany this absolute latin music is known only from "Santana" or "The Bueno Vista Social Club". What a shame! I love the joy that it´s brings!

About 00:55: OH! There is yet end! I´m surprised! It was a very, very refreshing mix here. I was zesty from
that wonderful latin music! The mix from your heart. I can understand you.

All the best,
Holger.

Thank you Mojito for your comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the set. There is an amazing story behind the Buena Vista Social Club. They are a legendary Latin band out of Cuba. There is a documentary DVD entitled "The Buena Vista Social Club". It's about their life story and how they reunited to perform again after so many years. It is a "Must See" if you love Latin music and are interested in it's roots and the many genre's it has influenced.

Mr. C

Great, great mix... I'm always looking to hear alternative recordings of classic tracks and this one held up wonderfully.
