Uploaded now, my latest twisted creation!

Combining elements of Big Beat favourites, along with straight up house, dark remixes of 80's tracks - and much, much, more!

Cans

Listen out for the remix of "I See You Baby" by Groove Armada, I've interpolated it with 2 other tunes in the Mix, and there is just one 8 measure section where the Groove Armada track plays on it's own!

Rook's always said I should do longer transitions, so this one is to satisfy his lust for a long 'un! >"Insert Double entendre Here"<

This was another straight "done as if playing live" Mix in Studio 7.

For those who find the whole Song Slicer experience off-putting or confusing, a point to note is that I didn't need to amend a single thing with ANY of these tunes!

BPM, Key & placement of Markers within the Slicer were all spot on by Studio 7, requiring no human adjustment by me!

Hope you enjoy this Mix, and please feel free to post some criticism (constructive please!).

I enjoyed your mix today at work. Musical performance art at its best! How was your experience with doing at if you were on "live"?

Hey 'X',

I've done several as "live", and I've found it farily easy - however I've made sure that I know my tunes beforehand & in the majority of cases made sure I've i've selected tunes that I've tweaked or sliced previously!

the difficulty of trying to create a 'live' mix with Studio versions of the prog is that (obviously) you cannot preview what you are going to hear!

I'm pleased with the results, even if it does leave the mixing a little simplistic (not as many overlays, fx & drop ins as I like to do!)

Most importantly to me is the fact that you enjoyed it! It's nice to do a mix that I like, far better to know others enjoy them too!

Thanks for the feedback on my query regarding live performance mixing. I am still a student of MM7 and have submitted 3 rather simplistic mixes to the community. I am just starting to get around to looping and overlays. Also there are quite a few plug-ins that come with MM7 that I will need to spend some time with in order to get acquainted them. All the MixMeisters here are certainly in a class by themselves and I hope some day to be able to blend like the rest of you.
