    Welcome to Selector's Choice, the premier station featuring mixes with no musical boundaries...if it tickles your fancy, we play it. This is the station where all genres of music intersect...Hip-Hop, R&B, Freestyle, Reggaeton, Dancehall, 2-Step/UK Garage, Latin (Salsa/Cumbia/Merengue et al...), Pop, Rock, Classic Soul, Blues, Ska, Punk, Breaks/Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Polka (yes even polka... Big Grin). The Choice is left in the Selector's hands...Yours. This is also the ideal home for Tag-Team mixes.

    To all of those who have toyed with the idea of submitting a mix but were unsure if they were up to the high standards set by those who have come before, rest assured that this is the place to be heard amongst your peers. So go ahead, get crazy, and throw down on Mixmeister...we await your labor of love with open arms.

    Submission Rules/Guidelines

  • Currently, all mixes/tracks submitted to this station will be placed into rotation for at least 2 months minimum or as often as the DJ (You) submits a mix (whichever of the two is more frequent, up to the maximum mixes allowed).

  • Mixes submitted to this station can span from a minimum of 45 minutes to a maximum of 120 minutes per mix.

  • If you're submitting an individual original track or a Remix/Mash-Up created within Mixmeister, it cannot exceed over 8 minutes in playtime (unless the hosts of this station are contacted prior to submission...all long tracks will be given consideration on an individual basis).

  • There is currently in place a 4 mix per DJ per rotation limit (for individual Tracks/Remixes/Mash-Ups there is a 3 track per DJ per rotation limit).

  • All mixes/tracks must follow the standard radio guidelines in regards to Foul Language/Objectionable Material...if it doesn't play on public radio, it doesn't play here. Any mixes/tracks found to contain foul language, will be removed from rotation, and the DJ will be promptly contacted to correct the mix/track and be asked to resubmit at their discretion. We reserve the right to revoke a DJ's airing privileges if he or she is found trying to subvert this rule too often (a few mistakes will be met with fair warnings).

  • All musical genres are accepted here, including mixes of various genres put together, as long as they are not already covered specifically in the following stations: jack2it, Translucent, and Beatconscious. If you're unsure as to whether your mix belongs here or somewhere else, feel free to contact us.

    Any mix meeting the All Mixxed Up criteria, will be directed towards that station.

  • After you have submitted a mix/track, please start a topic thread in the Selector's Choice forum section, this way we know that you have a mix/track ready to be put into rotation, and you can also receive comments or queries on your work.

  • Last, this station is all about having fun and being heard...do not get too hung up on perfection, nor on whether someone might not like your favorite type of music (polka anyone...??? Big Grin Wink). Just go forth and Mix & Submit.
