Hi,

Seeing as Old versions of Mixmeister are no longer on sale, have no bug support and Fusion has been rebuilt from the Ground up, would you like to see the old Mixmeister versions released to the public for updates and development?

I have no idea about the legal position, whether it's at all possible - so comments please...

Watcha think?

Gaz

Question:
Should old versions of Mixmeister go "Open Source"?

Choices:
Yes - Great Idea
No - Shouldn't Be Done
No - Can't Be Done

I think it would be interesting to see what the mod community could do with the software....but then again...that just possibly opens up a HUGE pandora's box.

I'd like to get my hands on Pro 6, since so many of us here still swear by it!

Free tools are worth exactly what you pay for them...sometimes less.

How many PCDJ'ers loved the MM Beat Calculator but never made the jump and bought the vastly superior Mixmeister? A Gazillion.

Who would support MM if the previous version was free?...

How many guys are still running a pirate edition of PCDJ Red or Cool Edit?

It was probably good for getting the name out there, but it doesn't put food on the table of the people created the program.
