hi. i'm wondering if anyone might know of someone/website that works using their voice for radio promos, and sweepers. like on the radio, you know how it says "you're listening to hot 97 fm", in the announcers voice or whatever. anyone know of a site that does this for people? i found one, but the guy wrote and said he had a cold and would do it later, but he never ended up doing it for me. so if someone knows of a place, please inform me. thank you.

You can do them yourself.
Hook up a mic and run the voice throug a Vocoder, or some sort of Vocal changer. THere are Many VST's out there that can do this. I run some through Cubase. I dont have a MIC hooked up anymore, so i dont do them, but you can make your own that easly. |

Good point, D-Mixx, and also you can record your voice w/o any extras, bring it into MixMeister and then use the effects that come packaged with Fusion/Studio 7 to effect the voice ... I'm thinking the Camelspace plug-in would work wonders....
I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

You might want to PM DJ Discovery as he has those very professional sounding promos on his radio stream on live 365. See where he might be getting his schwag from.

DJ Mojito - All-round DJ![]() Location: Germany in Soest. It´s a little town with old churches, a picturesque old town, many homelike pubs, but also discos and shopping centers. Countrified ambience. It´s a good mix - I love it!

Hi,
in my mixes you most hear some voice - overlays. I record my voice first with a micro. For this I use Audiograbber. This is a free program in the internet. I use this amongst others for line - in recordings. Than I tool the voice in NERO. There you can change the speed for example and can adjust the reverb exact. For voice - modulation there are sure better programs. I know this. You can create for example excellent female or baby - voices. The producers use this technology in the dance - scene. Listen to rave, harddance, jumpstyle etc. There you can hear modulated voices! I have detected a very good program for this in the internet, but it was pricy! NERO does it also, not so perfect like the pricy programs but good! In Mixmeister I place the modulated voices with the panner, than pull sometimes reverb or delay over the overlay. Than Mixmeister place the reverb or / and delay at the other side of the stereo - room. Sadly you cannot adjust where the reverb exact appears in the stereo - room. For this you need a home - producer program like Cubase. O.K., have fun... |

yes thank you. i also use audiograbber, (have for years!), so i'm very familiar with it. i'm also a producer and have several voice programs, so that's not a problem either. anyway i've pretty much got the problem solved at this point. thanks for the info on how you're doing it
