Are there any other Fluke fans here? I really dig their new album "Puppy."

I've not heard their new album but I saw them live a few times around the time of "Atom Bomb", they were awesome.

A thread about music!!!!

I´m not a trance fan, but the track they did for Matrix "Zion" it´s great, very well done, the rest of "trance makers" should learn from them.

Anyone out there listened to a group that's getting airtime on the college station around here called The Faint? Their new album is "Wet from Birth". It's quite good, meaning I really love it.

I decided to drive my hippy bus to work today and needed something suitably chilled yet upbeat to get me bouncing. originally though Ozrics would do it but found myself wanting to change that as soon as I hit traffic.

Finally settled on this gem:

One of only 3 mixed compilations that I own that I regularly listen to (funnily enough the other 2 are House music also...there, I've said it...I've come out of the non-House closet...)

Now I'm off to order the remastered Renaissance CD.

TRR, Didn't you send me there when I was last in NYC? I think I could find it again if I had too. Nice store that.

I´m surprised Monk, I thought you were into trance only, I got that CD 3 years ago and it's still one of my favorite mix CD ever, not too much tricks but the best american house music, just as I like, the booklet notes are great to help everybody to understand house music and Dance Tracks is not just a shop is an icon for house music lovers, cheers!!

I pretty much mix just trance but I listen to all sorts. It's funny that the only mix cd's I listen to are house though (except for Renaissance which has now arrived and aged very well - couple of forgivable cheese moments but it's a decade old so...).

The other 2 mix CD's that I rate in my collection are Space Ibiza 2002 and Hooj Tunes - Further Mixed by Red Jerry.

A very old thread, but just taking a look, and something caught my eye .... and memory .... agree wholeheartedly with Monk about Hooj Tunes - Further (Red Jerry). One of the best CDs I ever bought too Big Grin

I'll just chuck another in the pool .... anyone ever listen to United DJ's of America, Frankie Bones? I'm usually a house freak, but this techno mix from way back in '96 has done some serious speaker bashing. Fave is track 4 (Mikerobenics 'Replika') Cool
