I got the demo of express 6 last year and I'm looking at buying it sometime soon.

I am a Mash-Up DJ, and I want to get my Mixes on Air at Selector's Choice once I've got the Full version of Express 6!

Hello, and welcome ...

There are tons of resources in the program and on the forum, for learning the basics. First and foremost, the Help files that come with the program, for tips specific to the version you are using.

Also, you can check out this part of the forum and have a look at the tutorials which other MixMeisters have created ... not all of them will be about MM Express, but there will still be lots to learn. There's also The Workshop and the Help sections for each MM version if you scroll down thru the forum.

Once you've had a chance to look at this material, and play around with the program, please let us know if there are any details you'd like some help with ... someone is sure to respond.

If you're really just starting out with the concept of mixing songs, I would highly recommend you buy and read this book: How to DJ Right: The Art and Science of Playing Records

That book is an excellent source for total beginners and such...it won't show you how to work with Mixmeister (that you can learn through the help files, tutorials here, and by playing around with the software), but it will teach many of the ideas you need to be aware of when it comes to putting a solid mix together.
