That's difficult to answer. I guess if a tune has a good groove *and* a great melody, it'll get me. I was socialized musically in the late 70s/early 80s, so new wave will always be special to me, but I also enjoyed the deep house and trance eras. I'm looking for original ideas in dance music, that has alweays limited my faves to a manageable few. Does that answer the question?

Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new to the forums and MixMeister. Recently purchased Studio version 6. Musically I'm into everything, but my love is for electronica. Epic Trance, Tech House, Breaks, Progressive...and whatever else sounds good Smile

Looking to fine tune a recent progressive mix of mine so hopefully I'll have something soon.

Leon

Thanks TR Smile Shouldn't be too long from now. I was initially having some problems getting things to work, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Hello everyone,

I'm actually an old user (been using MM since way-back-in-the-day of version 2), but I only just upgraded from MMP5 to MMP6..
So I guess in that way I'm a noobie.
Also, haven't posted in yonks either (oops).

After years of wanting one I also grabbed myself a nifty little laptop recently with all the best specs bar the 7200rpm HDD.. errr me wants one.

My music taste is really corny, so you'll probably never hear one of my mixes here.

Anyway..
That's my rant.. on to the next person!

Hello MixMeisterite,

Don't let a diet of corn (or cheese) put you off - I've been happy enough to put up cheesy Pop mixes on The Mix Factory in the past!

I love to hear mixes of all sorts of styles/genres, so go on - be brave, they seem a friendly bunch here (I've never yet had a bad review) and the positive encouragement was enough to convince the love of my life to post her first ever mix! & that's in rotation on TMF at the moment!

Awesome, phreaq..
That's what I wanna get 4 my next upgrade.. mmm Smile

Thanks, Wildr..
Yeah, the MM Family's really encouraging and supportive.

I guess I never thought I'd get around to buying a laptop (4 years later), but I've got one now.. so I guess anything's possible.
Who knows, maybe I'll summit a mix in the future sometime and call it -
"Another One of Mixmeisterite's Corn-flavored Cheesy Pop Mixes"

Hey, Wildr!

It's really great to hear that "the love of your life" was able to submit a mix after the good feedback you got on yours.
Smile

Cheers, Gaz Skeltz

Maybe, I'll try and put together a mix SO.. corny.. that mmRadio will refuse to play it, or..
That all the complaints make them remove it from airplay.. muahaha
