Well, I first joined this forum to see what MM is all about... And now three hours later I think you have me convinced of converting!!! As I look at my 17 crates of records and stacks of cd books in the corner, I can just imagine them all being in a small little hard drive... I finally have an excuse to upgrade my computer system and the first thing i'm gonna download once it's done is MM...
Thanx to all who have posted and kept this site going for me to finally stumble upon it, Cadillac805 p.s. all those radio stations are jammin!!! can't wait to contribute.... |

Welcome, Cadillac805!! About 8 months ago, I did EXACTLY what you are about to do! I converted from records & CD's to mp3's!! It's a rather awkward transition, but once you get the feel for MM, you will thank yourself for doing it!! You can (literally) let your imagination run wild when using MM! Once you get everything set on your pc, we'll all be looking forward to hearing your first submission to MM radio!!

Alright, here goes.
The assignments on the board has 1 channel that is the live mix and another channel is the preview. What I want to know is, can I place a flashing preview bar on a song that is in the Playlist and arrange (&listen) to the mix of 2 songs that are actively in the playlist while the playlist is up and running? Gosh, did that make sense ...LOL? I really don't have a way of trying it out in the club with out it being a potentially embarrassing moment if it doesn't go right. I'm sure it is a very simple question, but a question I don't know the answer to nonetheless. Thanks, Keith |
