If I type into the search window of my Pro 5
tu tango I accurately get one song called: Este es tu tango If I type the same into Fusion I get a million songs including one by Tubatango and Asi Se Baila El Tango by Ricardo Tanturi. This makes the search unusable. Anybody have the same situation with search? Double quotes don't seem to work. Search works great in Pro 5. Thanks. |

That's one hell of a hard drive. concerning your question though, it would be an obvious assumption that by entering "Este es tu tango" neither Tubatango and Asi Se Baila El Tango by Ricardo Tanturi should pull since neither have "este" or "es" in them. I do not use p5 or fusion, but can tell you that i just tried this with p6 using the following terms... a (this pretty much cut nothing out of the search) ab (knocked a few out) abc (only brought back 2 tracks from the group, you guessed it, abc) a b (returned about 25% of my library) a b _ (the _ i show is actually a blank space... doing this brought back 1 track from the group a b s with the track "my house is your house" a classic techno track that brings back a lot of memories of my early clubbing days... aaaah, that was nice) okay, sorry about that.... a b c (this returned nothing) so, it appears that between your p5 and my p6 the search feature works as it should. like i said i do not use fusion so i cannot speak on that. but i know somebody will come along who can answer that part of your question. take care, plur |
