As a new user Of MM Fusion 7, I'm trying to discover the best way to do standard "radio station" (non-beatmix) segs. I know the integrated "crossfade" setting works fine for some situations, but what if I need to overlap the ending and beginning of my tracks without the default fade-out/fade-in being applied? Do I have to manually adjust the volume each time to get rid of that or can I somehow set my own preference?

Also, in manually adjusting the intro and outro anchors, they seem to move in preset increments (rather than fluidly). Is there any way to get more precise positioning other than to designate my tracks as "overlap" tracks?

TIA,
-Mike

I would strongly suggest you take a look at the program Help files, where this info is readily available (under "Transitions"):

quote:
Simple Mixing works much like the mixing many radio stations use. Songs are played with a small amount of overlap—or no overlap at all—and the volume is faded from one song to the other during the Intro of the incoming track. Simple mixing is the way to go if you're taking it down from high tempo beat mixing to something slower and mellower.

Crossfade: Fades the outgoing track volume while increasing the incoming track volume. Crossfade doesn't change the original BPM for a track.

No Transition: Plays to the end of the outgoing track, immediately starts the incoming track.

If you follow the link about default settings, you'll also find this:

quote:
You can change the default.

To change the default mix setting

On the Tools menu, choose Options.

Click the Playlist tab.

From the drop-down list, select the transition you want for the default mix.

MixMeister has an excellent help file, spend some time with it and you will also find out more about the Snap to Beat setting.
