Hi,
when i mix two tunes together, they don`t fit togethe. It seems like Mixmeister doesn`t set the BPM right or doesn`t change it. From friends of mine, who have the program i was used to set the outmix at at the end of a break and it fitted in 95 %. Do you know what`s maybe wrong ? Are there any preferences that could be wrong ? |

But when I put in an overlay track, theses tracks match.

What two tunes? What are the relative BPMs? Do you have an independent BPM analysis for these tracks to help you determine if MM messed up the BPM calculation? Did you know you can tap in the proper BPM if the program doesn't get it right? The only sorts of preference settings the program offers are the default transition types, and then some others pertaining to where files are stored, etc. The Help file covers all this information. Unless you can post a screen shot, or give more information, it's really hard to venture an opinion on what the problem is. It does help to keep in mind that some tunes just don't / won't mix together well ... selecting is half the battle I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

Do you mean the beats don't match? If so, check the transition type in the playlist against your tracks. If set to "No Transition", then it's trainwreck ... here we come. Just a thought, but if not then as MadameFLY says ... post some screenshots. Neb. p.s. welcome to the forums |

so i made the sample. and the mixmeister file.
The first track has originally 126.0 Bpm The second 128.0 Bpm The third 127.0Bpm I set 126 Bpm for every track. I don`t know how to make screenshots on mac. I`m really new on this system. : http://hotfile.com/dl/13561557...cd9c/Sample.mp3.html and http://hotfile.com/dl/13561753...f3b8/Sample.mmp.html I tapped also the BPM. They are right. My preferences: Midi : COntrol Template : Mixmeister Control. |

Sasha, first, listening to the mp3 won't help a whole lot in figuring out the problem you are having using MixMeister because there's no way to see what you did in the program in order to end up with that sample -- and of course the mmp can only be opened by someone who has those same tracks in their library.
I wish I could advise you on how to make a screenshot, but I'm not a Mac user -- it's dead easy on Windows (PrntScn and paste into any graphics program, including Paint...) I would think Mac would have a similar functionality, considering how graphics oriented Mac are supposed to be. Why not just google for the instructions? And you are right, there are preferences to be set in mapping yr midi stuff ... not something I use, so I forgot about that ... but I doubt such preferences have anything to do with the difficulty you are experiencing. What are the MixMeister transitions set to? Nebulus raised that question, but you didn't respond. Also you say you have 3 tracks with 3 different BPMs and "I set 126 Bpm for every track" ... where did you change the BPM setting? There's probably 5 places you can alter that setting in MM, but not all will give you the same end result, IIRC ... I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |
