Listen everyone:

Here in Germany there are some guys who goes with PCs and Laptops to the discos, pubs etc. and plays there the
music for people over 30. You must know every Party - Classic - Track to do this Job. Mostly you need for this a track - repertoire from about 120 tracks or so, hardly more. You can play always similar tracks. This guys
are called here "Ü 30 - DJs", stands for "Über 30 - DJs" (Over 30 - DJs). Here are also often "Ü 30 - Parties".
Also I had done this job on many parties, but only for fun, not for money.

In England there is a similar kind of DJ, here this guys are called "Wedding DJs".

My dream was it now to connect this "Wedding DJ" / "Ü - 30 - DJ" with the beatmixing DJ. And therefore I have
created this mix! It´s the music from this "Wedding DJs", but beatmixed. There is naturally not every Ü 30 - track in the mix, but a lot of them. Every track is mixed in the same or similar keys (!) and BPMs.

After the introduction I start with a 123 BPM - Flow over a long time with a lot of classics.
Than follows a 86 - BPM - Vibe with three tracks Rap, Hip - Hop and two other tracks.
Than I tune in the dance - and happy techno - scene with three choosen tracks. Hope you like them!
About 142 BPM now.
At least I tune into three funk and soul tracks with about 113 BPM. After this I hold this BPM, but now there are following more party - classics, like at the beginning.

So I mean it´s a good palette at Genres for a AMU - Mix : Pop, Rock´n´Roll, Country, Euro - Dance, Trance,
Metal at the beginning, Rap , Hip - Hop, Rock, Funk, Soul.
And four BPM - Vibes!

And because the DJs who plays this music are called in England "Wedding - DJs" I have called this mix "Wedding Party".

Guys and ladies, now have a "Wedding Party" with it!

Alles Gute für euch (All the best to you),
Holger.

hi Mojito

Loving the concept of your mix, its very thought out. Some interesting tune choice. I like the quickness of it, the way you only play a little of the track and then its in to the next track, nice! Some of the mixes are a bit to "fade over" for my liking but on the whole; top work for your first MM mix!! Chewbacca
looking forward to your next mix(es).
If i ever get married again, i know who to call!! Cheers

Hi!

It´s n o t my first mix that I have sent to MM - Radio, it´s my third! Wink
Check up the playlist from "Transculent" and search for "DJ Mojito - Best of Harddance - DJs 2007". The guys like it there really and I´m very pleased about that. Listen to the mix and tell me your opinion and read the other things in my massage in the forum there.

But it´s yet my first debut here in "All mixed up" with my first AMU - Mix. I´m glad that you like it.

To your critisism: Maybe I need to tune in the songs a little harder to get a constant beat, but I think that´s a question of taste. But I will work and work on it to get better and better.

Thanks for your reply and listen to "Best of Harddance - DJs 2007" please.

Greatings to all DJs here in "All mixed up". I´m s o lonely here, in "Transculent" I have known a few
very kind guys which crept into my heart.

Where are here the faithfully DJs? I would please me very much to get to know you guys. Cheers

Greatings and peace too,
Holger.

No problem. Nobody can know everything. But visit the side of "Best of Harddance - DJs 2007" there and perhaps
my member - profile, than you know more about me!

By the way:

This morning I have visited the podcast - side of "DJ Marko" becaus I wanted to listen to his Voice - Trance -
Mix "Voice". It´s yet very hard to catch a special mix in "beatmixing.com". Now I listen to it over that
podcast - station. That is a cool issue. When I have created more mixes I construct there a side with my mixes
for friends too. Wink Really a cool thing!

He! Where are the other DJs here? Where is Wildr? What do you think about that mix, Roy????

Also I have croll in older massages here. Where are you all, you lazy guys? Wink

I will hear your opinion about the mix! And I will here y o u again, damned!

Many greatings,

To the technique of the mix:

The songs are a w a r e into each other convoluted, because they are almost always i n / t h e / s a m e / k e y / a n d / t h e / s a m e / B P M. The hardest job was it thus to find a song which is i n / t h e / s a m e / k e y / a n d / t h e / s a m e / B P M as the song before it, and it had to be the music of those Ü - 30 DJs / Wedding DJs. Thus you be in the know! Than I created a w a r e / a transitions with mostly 8 or 16 Beats, but also more to get a wonderful harmonic passage. This are n o / c r o s s f a d e s! This are harmonic transitions in keys and BPMs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For hours I have worked to accomplish this criteria.
Remember: There is no simple crossfade in the mix. Just the BPM - changes I have created with reverb or delay, but also here / i n / k e y !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO YOU KNOW NOW MY HARD WORK AT THIS MIX?

Holger.

My great antetype for this art of mixes is wildr. Yoda

He mixes every style in his AMU - mixes, and so an AMU - mix should be: Like a good salad, well composed.

Not only one style, not only one BPM - Vibe! And short pieces of the tracks! That´s an AMU - Mix (All - Mixed -

Up - Mix)!

This is my yummy salad!

Greatings,
Holger.
