Completely new to all this and to this forum so I hope I explain this correctly. Running Mixmeister 6.1.6. Just noticed this strange occurence recently. I'll make a mix and save the playlist (mmp file), usually on my desktop. Then if I want to open it by just double clicking the file, I get this window that pops up before Mixmeister opens. Something to the effect of " ... wait while Mixmeister configures ..." can't really make it out completely. Basically, nothing bad really happens but it keeps putting a Mixmeister short-cut on my desktop and in my Start Menu each time I double click to open the playlist. No matter how many times I delete these short-cuts, if I double click on any saved mmp file, they come right back. However, if I open any of these saved playlists from within Mixmeister (after I open the program first and go to File "Open Playlist ... " this doesn't happen. No big deal except I just don't want the short-cut on my desktop and want to be able to open my mixes by double clicking on them instead of having to open mixmeister.

One thing I have noticed is that this doesn't happen when I leave the Mixmeister Start Menu short-cut alone (default location after installation). I know for example Norton AntiVirus doesn't work properly for some reason if you move it's start menu items. I'm wondering if this is the same kind of problem. Unfortunatelly I like group my start menu items into various folders so I keep moving the mixmeister start menu short cut to a customized folder. Could this be the problem?

I apologize for the very long post. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
