Using MM Pro 6.05 And am getting a slow responce from the catalog search window, Letters take a second or so to come up or delete. Have about 100,000 songs on a External 300 7200rpm firewire drive. Laptop is new with all the bells and whistles. Any one experence the same or have a fix?

We didn't get to the bottom of it so I would suggest contacting support http://www.mixmeister.com/support_morehelp.html

The catalog search uses type ahead so it stands to reason that the search will slow down when using a large catalog, it's common with databases that use type ahead - if it's something that is becoming an issue for users then I'm sure the Mixmeister team will address the problem.

thanks MONK i shot a email out to support hopefuly they can fix this bug, it will make the program that much better. Its hard to show how great MM is to another DJ when it takes forever to search for a song.

Hey there I was wondering if you made contact with MM to figure out why slow search. I am having the same issue and did they give you a fix for the problem?
