I am at my wits end. The Dell Latitude that I was running mm6 on has packed up last weekend, thankfully I have another laptop a newer one and I thought that's ok, ill install mm6 on that one, import my catalogue of 300gb and if I start this on Monday it should be finished by Friday when I am working next (tonight). However, what has happened I simply don't know.
For some reason it has stopped plotting, wel, it hasn't it says it is still plotting files and appears to be doing just that but now it has only plotted 1/3 of my catalogue. Not only that but if I drag a song on to my playlist, it reads it (says it is reading in bottom left hand screen) finishes 100% BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. I still see the blank line where the wavform should be. I really don't know what to do as I have left the machine running for like 5 days now and at frst it was working fine. Nothing has changed on my machine. I never had this problem with the Dell. I am running an Acer Turion 64 1.4ghz, 2 gb Ram, not sure on sound card or video but it shouldnt matter anyway. Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone know a workaround. I am supposed to be working tonight in less than 4 hours and most of my catalogue is unplotted and therefore unusable!!! Please anyone... |

Duck was here.... |
4 hours... man that's sucks.
300gbs??? holy smokes. the most i've tried to import into mm at one time was just under 3gbs. obviously it took a bit of time but did finish the job. the only thing i can think of is system overload? seems like a lot of files to be running through at one time. i'm sure someone will be along to lend a hand. just hang tight. plur |

Can I have everything louder than everything else? |
I've heard of this happening, and when you exit MM and restart, it picks back up where it left off. Any chance that helps in your case?
