BTW, I've just gone into the lobby in time to see it say "Slip has left the room".

yes I have the latest ver of flash, even check various setting on the pc and still all I see is the pic above.

I have to admit I'm stuck Slip.

Twice I've been in the room and it's registered you 'leaving'.

Unfortunately I cannot get at the guts of the chat prog - only a control console & that doesn't offer anything.

I know you'll probably say you've followed the instructions, but how are you trying to enter the chat rooms?

Ok,

Use the GO button and then left click on The Global Loft - this takes you to a "forum view" of the rooms, click on one of these and try to enter.

As the window starts opening, click on the window, and see if any of that helps.

If not, then I'm fresh out of ideas, and it's probably time to slap the Monkey and get his help

Ok, sounding like the worst sort of IT support - try reinstalling flash player, and restarting your PC.

If you have access to another PC, try logging in from there.

Slip - what Browser you using?

If it's pre 5.5 IE then you may have problems, the forums are supposed to work with most of the popular browsers.

Try a different browser if you can!

Just installed the latest ver of Firefox and still the same results

Slip you got a firewall on? Can you disable it for a few seconds and retry?

Ok, suggestions from those in the chat:

turn off firewall,
use different PC,
install latest flash/java
use different browsers
go to the library and use their PC
come to the UK so you can use a PC in a library that is open,
buy a new PC!!

Sorry Slip - I'm stumped, I just don't get why you can't get in - there's 10 of us in there now!
