I've had off and on problems with CD burning with every release Mixmeister since 3. However, it has always been related to what other burning applications, like Nero and Roxio, have done to the system registry, and/or the priority (order) of installation of the various applications, and not to a specific problem with MM itself. In some cases a complete uninstall and re-install of MM has solved the problem, in some cases an uninstall/reinstall of other burning applications in conjunction with MM has done the trick with an ordered priority of the reinstall (MM first), and in one case a minor registry edit (mentioned in the knowledgebase at microsoft.com) took care of it.
In every case, it has been resolvable and MM support may be able to help you, however if you do a little Google sleuthing and Microsoft knowledgebase searching on the generic topic of "CD burning problems" you should be able to find out exactly what is causing your troubles. Basically, many CD burning applications refuse to play nicely with each other in the Windows environment. Thanks Tim, Co-host of Jack2It MMRadio |
