Evo, I moved your post to the proper area ... I know you have installed the submit tool before, but are you taking care to run it from the actual updated Studio folder, and removing the reference to the Fusion folder in the install? These are some of the things that can cause problems ...
Just for a point of reference, I'm using Studio 7.2.2 and the submit tool works for me.... I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

Yep, I dealt with this issue as well. All you need to do is remove that Fusion Refrence when installing, if you have Studio that is, and to make sure you are updated to the newest 7.2.2 patch for Mixmiester

Madame ... when you say "remove that Fusion Refrence when installing" ... can you elaborate for a thick male ... I am still no nearer uploading a mix than I was a week ago

That worked, though with a little wrinkle that would be good to note for Studio users, which you can understand best by reference to the attached pic.... here's the pic: The point is that no matter what installation folder you browse to, the installer is still going to hang that bit about MixMeister Fusion on the end -- Studio users need to get rid of that part. BTW, when it offers to put the uploader in the START menu under MixMeister, I would put it somewhere else lest it overwrite your entry for v.6 uploader (assuming you want to keep that alive for now...) I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

Hi Madame ... thanks for all your time and patience trying to help me resolve this matter ... it is driving me to the verge of insanity ... I forwarded on my problem to Mixmeister but despite the promise of a 24 turnaround in responding I have heard nothing ... it is time for me to throw in the towel and seek fame and fortune elsewhere ... I wish you luck and good fortune in all you do ... bye for now, DJ Bing

wow this has become difficult and frustrating to say the least. I've done exactly what has been requested
Under setup: selection destination location c:\program files\mixmeister studio Nothing in here said fusion in it. Makes since, since i don't own that software. Next i get "Folder exists" The folder c:\program files\mixmeister studio already exists would you like to install it anyway? Next where would you like the shortcut? I launch it. I filled out the required data and i get this error again: "mix submit is unable to validate your copy of mixmeister express, studio, or pro. please make sure that you are connected to the internet and that the software is installed correctly". I tried to open the Mixmeister studio shortcut on desktop is the 7.2.2. now shows version 6.1.1.2 and i get a crash message. C:\Program Files\MixMeister Studio\DUMP-3312-3900-20080620-235216.dmp This is a shame because because i want to get this to work and download a lot of mixes to be aired... Please help.. I think there needs to be a patch with Mixmeister Studio that includes the radio submission product.. it would make things a lot easier.. thanks Kip |

Just to clarify this bit:
It used to be, you would get that message regardless of whether or not you had Fusion installed. Now, about this bit:
You have a complex problem (compared to what the other users on the forum can generally help with) and you need to contact technical support using the link provided HERE -- item 4. The dmp file should assist with identifying the issue. By which I mean, the issue with why your v.7.2.2 Studio suddenly seemed to become v.6.1.2.2. (Were you trying out the 7.2.2 demo when this happened?) Actually, the radio submit tool is not so much on the Tech Support radar -- as you note, it is not officially part of the product; there is no indication at present that there is any plan to make it part of the product. But as the activity has now impacted the program, you may be able to get some assistance. Good luck I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

Do not want to sound too negative here...but this thread is one reason I no longer upload my mixes on here. Been coming here for years and this has always been a problem. I just figured what's the use..and when there are lots of other places to get aired without the hassle.(I know someone will jump in here and say not legally aired right? Gimme a break on this ok)
Also having to repeatedly ask for the submit tool is also a turnoff. Just stating how I feel on this being a paid subscriber of this software. This should be a no-brainer once you've done one. |
