Have I shared the HypeNet link with you yet? I shouldn't have to, really, since I got it out of that same GQ magazine that all you metrosexuals already subscribe to ... but I know you're busy people, so just in case you missed it ....

HypeNet is essentially a blog roll call, the twist being these are all blogs that write about music ... and so some post mp3s. Now please note, most of these blogs are posting music links without proper permission and so I'm depending on you to do the right thing and ignore those bad boys (and girls) .

Instead, you are looking for those special blogs that link to music posted under the Creative Commons copyright provisions, because these independent artists are posting their music specifically so that you will find it, download it and listen to it (and tell others about it if you like it.) One of the most stellar of these I've discovered so far is the Starfrosch.ch blog ... there are various blogs for various genres (they even have downtempo, so they must be cool ) and a separate blog for "staff picks". The variety and scope must be seen to be appreciated.
