hello, bit of a basic question here - what is the keyboard shortcut to get fusion to drop in the 'add original tempo marker' onto the tempo bar when playing? when i right-click on the tempo bar it has the 'o' underlined which makes me think that it'd be alt+o to get that dropped on, but that doesn't work - am i making an elementary mistake?
the reason i ask is that it'd helpful to be able to get the numark controller to go back to the track's original tempo - the easiest thing would be with a push of the 'tempo' knob. i think i'll put this in the wishlist for fusion (unless im missing something that does this already!) |

Version 7.3.2 of the software does not have the "O" underlined when you right-click to add an additional tempo marker, but when you right click and then hit "o", a tempo marker is added at the mousepoint. So, the underscore of the "o" in "Original" has obviously been added in your newer version to indicate the already available keyboard functionality, but you must right-click first.

I really hate seeing this post go to waste seeing so many write in to ask about "Keyboard Shorts" that I thought I'd bring it up here:

I tried this out in Studio 7.2.2 and verified ... I should note for the sake of completenness, that the track you want to add the tempo marker to must be highlighted in the timeline ... if no track is highlighted, you can't place the marker ... but with the track highlighted, you can right-click and type "O" and get the marker, even in that older version. Thanks for the tip, guys! I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |
