Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong, i cannot create a cd with separate music files, so i cn play the cd in an mp3 player not as one mix, but as separate files!???? Thank you

It's hard to say what you're doing wrong if we don't know what you are doing at all ... it would help if you would describe the process you are currently using....

Personally, I chose File>Burn CD and I get a CD with individual track indexing automatically produced by the program. Is that different from what you are doing?

You mention trying to play the CD in an mp3 player ... if you use the program to make a CD, it won't be in mp3 format. If you choose to export as mp3 so you can burn the mp3 onto a disc, you won't get individual tracks unless you check the box for that ...

If I export my mix to mp3 format, it's usually so that I can drag that mp3 file onto an mp3 player and just play it directly -- not burn the mp3 onto a CD. So I'm not real clear what you are trying to accomplish....

It is not possible at this time to do this unless you are able to create a cuelist manually...it is an art if not familair with it.
There are programs out there for doing this.
The cuelist is a file...that tells the burning program to separate the tracks on the cd to specific locations on the disc...so the person playing the cd can select the tracks individually.

Hope this answers some of your questions on this. Oh yes...most important: The cuelist will leave no gaps when playing the complete mix on the cd. If you save your mix here now as separate tracks....and add them to a burning program and burn....you will get a noticeable pause between tracks. We need the cuelist to overcome this!
