Our Server Master (Tepmix) has advised of impending server overload and asked the Hosts to cull out all the older sets ... so BeatConscious will see a significant reduction to sets in rotation, as I remove those 2007 mixes ...

What does this mean to you? Well, it means that if you ever wanted to submit a set to BeatConscious, now is definitely the time!


For one thing, with a reduced playlist, your mix is guaranteed to air more frequently ... and of course, we would be delighted to feature the new music. Recent additions from DJ D-Groove, DJ Jez, DJ Mojito, dani72 and the Baltimore Boogie Man have really been welcome ... so whether you are new to the station or just haven't submitted in a while, we want to hear what you're up to!

It's time to start moving gingerly into 2009, I think ... look for a new Money Groove set to join the schedule later today and I may even bring Money Groove Part One back onto the schedule as well. Rumor has it that Moto is perfecting a couple of sets for upload also ...

As in the previous post from last summer, I'm calling out to the community for new material ... I'd like to hear from past contributors to BeatConscious (the few, the proud!) and also you folks who've toyed with the idea of making a submission but never quite gotten around to it. Now's your time!

More new sets for the stream -- Contributions from Douglas, who is deep in a new love affair with downtempo/trip hop beats and brings us "Trippin' the Love One" ... and an all-hiphop, all-Cuttdaddies set from Da Illchemist called Study Hall...

Big up to Allen Jones, who contributed a Michael Jackson mix to BeatConscious this holiday weekend - hi-energy set with tracks that were new to me ...

Allen's been inspired to contribute a second set to BeatConscious, and prepare yourself for pleasure ... it's jazzy now

In addition, a new voice, Magic Moon, has contributed an excellent set -- Look for "Chill is in the air" ...

It's been a good couple of months here at BeatConscious and my thanks go out to the new DJs and old friends like dani who have made it happen ...
