For most of us, yesterday marked the end of the Thanksgiving festivities and the beginning of the homestretch to Christmas and New Year's ... and so it's time to deck the halls here in the BeatConscious lounge and work on getting us all in the spirit
 I've started by adding the 2004 Christmas mix to the schedule and taking down a couple of the older sets ... as the month goes on, I'll be adding more Christmas mixes and removing more of the older mixes until, I'm thinking, by Dec. 25th, we will have an all Christmas show here for the day.... Seppuku (Buster) and I have been working hard to pull together a couple of new sets for this project and the first of our tag-teams will be added to the schedule in a week or so ... but don't feel like we need to hog all the glory for ourselves ... if you have a Christmas set you'd like to get onto the rotation, let me know and we'll add it to the playlist ... Come on, everybody, let's get in the spirit  I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |

By the way, the first Xmas set to be added for this year was 2004's Candlelight and Cookies for Mr. Claus ... you can read about it here.

This thread is being re-started for the 2007 Christmas season ...
We've turned the corner into December, Jez has hung some Christmas lights on the mmRadio player for the BeatConscious stream, and the first of the month's amendments to the playlist has taken place: Instead of Snow, the 2005 Christmas mix has been posted, while at the same time, I've retired a few sets: say goodbye for now to Noki Lytel, Buster's Jazz Notes... mix and my own New Again, first posted back in February  I'll be continuing the weeding-out of 2007's older sets and adding a new Christmas set each week between now and Dec. 21st ... and by Christmas Eve, we should be all Xmas music, all the time. The progression of the Xmas show continues, this weekend's addition being the first of two tag-teams that Buster and I did last year, All Lit Up.
At the same time, a few more sets have been retired: Moto's Some Associations, Soul Something (Retweaked) by dani72, and my own Slow Goin' (Empathy 2.1 Echo Mix) ...  I got something for your mind, your body and your soul. |
