Irie, the dub come tumblin out ....

In this case, I received a track from the PC Synergy duo of Jacksonville (check their site, Soul Support for more information), whose Scott Peterson had been enjoying the broadcast of my Tribulation Dub set ... his partner Phil Green wrote "Slow Roll" (c 2005 Soul Support Recordings) which was immediately selected as a core track for the next Dub outing. At about the same time, I spent an afternoon with Doctor Echo, talking about music and such ... he also had new and unreleased material, but I chose "Passion" from his recent self-titled CD to use this time around.

Also please welcome the return of Massive Attack, whose triphop stylings of the late 90s were deeply imbued with dub sensibility -- like the people say, good taste is timeless . Modern dub masters Thievery Corporation represent with their own track "State of the Union", as well as a remix of the Sofa Surfers' "Can I Get a Witness" .... G-Corp, Smith & Mighty and Finley Quaye are among the other Dub Fathers making an appearance, while up-and-comers like Adham Shaikh, Yaziko and Tappa Zukie bring their stylish updates to this eternal sound.
